Asko Schrey, founder of the Pretax Group, has been the CEO of the company since 2000 and was before that the Chairman of the Board. He has been a shareholder in the company since 1987. Schrey has extensive experience in the fields of economics and finance. Before becoming the CEO of the Pretax Group, he was Managing Director of the Helsinki Stock Exchange, operative director of the Hex Group, President of the stock and derivatives exchange Som Oy and the electricity exchange Elex Oy, Managing Director and Marketing Director of Efector Oy, and a Deputy Head of the ADP Centre at the HOP Group and before that a corporate research analyst.

Schrey has over 30 years of experience in entrepreneurship. He has been a member of the Board of Directors with several companies such as Dipoli Oy, Privanet Oy, the Association of Finnish Accounting Firms, Suomen Arvopaperimediat Oy, Teleste Oy, the Avena Group and Innofinance Oy.
