Even the top of the class benefits from a skills update
Financial consultant and project manager Sanna Lahti is only 28 but has already created a fine career in the Pretax Group. Sanna has been working in the Pretax Group for five years, and her career has been fast-tracked by her will to keep developing continuously on the job. "The Pretax Institute has provided me good opportunities to develop my competence and expertise and update my knowledge alongside my regular job. There is beneficial training available in the Institute also for the younger generation in the company," says Sanna.
Sanna's attitude to studying is evident in her progress: it took her only three years to complete her Master's degree in economics and business administration at the University of Tampere. Her success has also continued in the Pretax Institute, where a few years ago she passed the distinguished KLT accounting and auditing examination at the top of her class. Lately Sanna has also familiarized herself with other training programmes at the Institute, such as the one for supervisors. "People from different departments in the company participate in the training courses, which is only a good thing. Pretax is a big company, and this is a good way to get to know parts of it that are not yet familiar", adds Sanna.
