Even an experienced entrepreneur needs good advice

The Saresta company of Satu Maunula, who manages six restaurants in the Helsinki metropolitan area, has placed its confidence in Pretax since the 1990s. Pretax takes care of matters such as Saresta's bookkeeping and accounts, and the payroll. Saresta is interesting as a client in that the bookkeeper who handled the company's affairs at Pretax moved north out of Helsinki. "The bookkeeper knew us well, and we wanted to continue the arrangement," Maunula says. Her experiences of telecommuting are so positive that she wonders why the potential of online services is not more widely exploited.

Maunula keeps in touch regularly not only with the bookkeeper but also with the contact person appointed for Saresta Oy by Pretax. "Even an experienced entrepreneur is in need of good advice on financial matters every now and then. For example, we go through the balance sheet regularly. We are fortunate to have a contact who knows the restaurant business and who is skilled at always finding the right solutions for each situation," she says.
