MAINTPARTNER TO OUTSOURCE ITS FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT TO PRETAX
The Pretax Group, the biggest financial management services company in the Nordic countries, and Maintpartner, which provides outsourcing services in industrial maintenance and was divested from Fortum in November, have come to an agreement on the outsourcing of the financial management to Pretax. Maintpartner, which was created through the sale of a business unit, was, as soon as it was established, one of the leading companies in its field in the Nordic countries and requires immediately reliable, smoothly functioning and up-to-date financial management to support its business operations.
Maintpartner operates in Finland and Sweden and employs 900 people. The business is expanding rapidly. "We wanted a financial management partner who would enable us to manage growth and who would be able to serve us in the future as well, as our business grows," says Tero Jussila, Vice President, Finance at Maintpartner. "We are ourselves in the outsourcing business and I look on outsourcing as an effective solution for operations that are not a company's core business. I have followed Pretax's strong development for years. Having met them, I was further impressed. They have considered how financial management should be handled in a company like ours and the concept is ready and tested."
Pretax Financial Management is a service developed for large and medium-sized companies. It includes financial control, flexible outsourcing services and ASP as well as consultation the supports these services. The service package tailored for Maintpartner also includes Group accounting and reporting. "The sector is changing constantly because of factors such as technical development and legislation. Processes are improving all the time. We believe that Pretax, as the leading actor in the field, is excellently placed to remain at the forefront and thus keep our financial management, too, efficient and bringing added value," Jussila adds.
