Pretax consolidates its position in Ostrobothnia
Wasa Profit Center joins Pretax
Pretax, the largest financial management and payroll processing service provider in the Nordic countries, continues to grow with the addition of Oy Wasa Profit Center Ab in the region of Ostrobothnia in Finland at the beginning of February.
Wasa Profit Center is the largest financial management and payroll processing service provider in Ostrobothnia, with offices in Vaasa, Seinäjoki, Kokkola, Ylihärmä and Himanka. All of its 45 employees will continue in their positions under Pretax.
The clientele of Wasa Profit Center ranges from one-man businesses to companies and corporations employing dozens of people. It is a particularly strong player in the area that used to be the Province of Vaasa.

According to Anssi-Jukka Kasi, Managing Director of Wasa Profit Center, the merger is a natural extension of the development process undertaken by the company in recent years.

Kasi will continue as Managing Director of Wasa Profit Center, and he will also become a shareholder in Pretax. He will further assume the responsibilities of Pretax Regional Manager for Ostrobothnia. Deputy Managing Director and shareholder Tarja Mäki-Latvala of Wasa Profit Center will continue to head the Vaasa office and will also become a shareholder in Pretax.
